Not only words but also the dates of events are important. Today’s date is the memorial day for the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster, which occurred on February 1, 2003. Another disaster, more than ten years prior to that event, happened to the space shuttle Challenger on January 28, 1986. Considering that both dates have the single-digit numerical value of number eight [2+1+2003=2006 (2+6=8) and 1+28+1986=2015 (2+1+5=8)], I’m asking myself whether these two events signal some other serious issues than only some structural and technical problems with these shuttles. Likewise, the number eight shows up in the acronym for the name of the government agency, NASA (single-digit numerical equivalent: 5+1+1+1=8), and in the time between the two events. 17 years lie between the two events and the single-digit value of number seventeen is eight (1+7=8). The inherent values of number eight are repetition, strength, and transfiguration leading to responsibility and power. The numerical equivalents of both shuttles, Columbia and Challenger, is number four, whereby Columbia exists of eight letters and Challenger ten. Given the inherent value of the number four - building something tangible through a logical structured system and submitting to earthly manifestations in order to construct an orderly and stable foundation - were the names of the two shuttles not the appropriate vehicle for the program for which they were intended? My gut tells me that this could be a problem, but it would be necessary to analyze this matter on a broader level. © Feb 1, 2016 Ute Sonja Medley (SUM UNIVERSAL) There is nothing without a reason. ~ Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz |
